
Meet Honorary Consul Sharol P. Noblejas
Honorary Consul Sharol Pausal Noblejas earned an Associate of Liberal Arts and Science from the University of Florida, Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in Health Information Management and Master’s in Business Administration from Orlando College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. As a student, she was President of the University of Florida Filipino Student Association and was elected President of the Student Health Information Management Association at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Noblejas was elected President of the Florida Health Information Management Association and also received the Outstanding Student, Outstanding New Professional and the Distinguished Member Awards.
Ms. Noblejas moved to Jacksonville in 1997 and became very active in the Filipino Community, Asian Community and City of Jacksonville. She was a Commissioner for the City of Jacksonville Housing & Community Development Commission, Chair/ Board Member of the Asian American Advisory Board, serving under Mayor Lenny Curry and Mayor Donna Deegan, a member of Leadership Jacksonville and a Board Member of the Literacy Alliance. In the Asian /Filipino Community, Ms. Noblejas was President of Night of Asia, President of the Knights of Rizal Ladies Auxiliary and President of the Visayas Mindanao Association. She is currently a member of the Alliance of Fil-Am Organizations of NE Florida, the Ilocano Association and the Bayanihan Club of Jacksonville. Ms. Noblejas is also President of Jax Filipinos, Inc.

In May, 2024, Ms. Noblejas was appointed as the Philippine Honorary Consul representing the 175,000 Filipinos in the State of Florida. She was administered the oath of office at the Philippine Embassy in Washington, DC by Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez.
In addition to her volunteer work, Ms. Noblejas has experience in Healthcare IT, in large multi-entity health networks, corporate hospitals and information technology companies. She is a Senior IT Program Manager at Florida Blue / Guidewell Health having overall responsibility of over 100 clinics throughout the state of Florida. Consul Noblejas was born in Long Beach, California to parents, Larry and Mindy Pausal from Oroquieta City, Philippines. Ms. Noblejas is married to her husband, Norman and have 2 sons; Nicholas, who currently works at the British Embassy in Washington DC and Christopher, who is a student at the University of Central Florida.
